Ffurious

Born Rodine Allen, August 3rd 1983 in Port Maria, St. Mary.
Rodine grew up in Hamilton Mountain, a small community close to Oracabessa in St Mary, Jamaica. His passion for music was influenced by dancehall greats such as Capleton, Sizzla, and Bounty Killer. It was also this passion for music that pushed him to move to Kingston where he had the opportunity to be mentored by Capleton.

The name Ffurious was given to him by friends in Kingston as it matched his style of singjay, energy and delivery. It was Capleton who inspired him and created the platform for Ffurious to make his stage debut at Capleton’s annual charity concert  “A St. Mary Mi Come From”.

Ffurious recorded his first song, "Who to Trust" in 2009 on the Joe Keys Riddim which was produced by Cut Stone records. This single received multiple rotations on the radio and was first played by DJ Wayne on Irie FM. Since then he has spent a lot of time in the studio recording for several different producers both locally and overseas, as well as traveling and performing with Capleton in the Caribbean and the US. He joined Capleton’s US tour in November 2015, where he was the opening act for all of his shows.

2017 saw Ffurious team up with Grammy nominated writer and artist Gene Noble for his release “you know I do” ( Gene’s collaborative works include Shaggy, Jason Deruolo, Chris Brown and Sting) this song was produced by multi-platinum, grammy winning producers The Musicalz, and distributed by Seventeen Media Group.
He toured with Capleton (his mentor) on the Rise Above tour in North Carolina as well as across the Caribbean, performed at St Mary Mi Come From, Charlotte International Jerk Fest and also the Portmore Music Fest.
